As part of the investment project “Renovation of the high-pressure gas pipeline DN500 5.4 MPa Śrem – Poznań”, NDI Energy carried out a number of modernizations on a 15.78 km section, including:

renovation of gas pipeline intersections in the area of watercourses,

renovation of the gas pipeline in the place of galvanic contact,

renovation of the stop and bleed units together with the side pipelines,

elimination of shallowing of the gas pipeline,

liquidation of stubs,

conducting pressure tests of the mentioned sections,

Due to the obsolete nature of the technological solutions used in the renovated section of the gas pipeline, it was necessary to apply special procedures to ensure continuity of supplies of the medium flowing through the gas pipeline.

According to the Investor’s requirements, it was also necessary to replace the segment bends with cold-bent and induction bends, the geometry of which allowed for inspection of the pipeline condition using smart pigging.
