The construction included:
a) DN700 high pressure gas pipeline MOP 8.4MPa, 76.9km long
b) 3 stop and bleed units with control instrumentation (I&C)
c) 4 trenchless crossings using the HDD (Horizontal Directional Drilling) method
d) 3 trenchless crossings using the microtunneling method
e) 28 trenchless crossings using the drilling/jacking method
f) fibre optic cable installation
g) cathodic protection installation (protection against corrosion)
The welding work was performed using the CRC Evans automatic method. Due to difficult geological conditions, some sections were laid on a expanded clay mattress to stabilize them.
