The target of the project was the construction of a high-pressure gas pipeline connecting the Gas Distribution Station in Gustorzyn with the stop and bleed unit in Leśniewice, along with a significant expansion of the Gas Distribution Station in Gustorzyn, the largest in central Poland.

The investment project was implemented under the Act of 24 April 2009 on investments in the liquefied natural gas regasification terminal in Świnoujście and was located in the Kujawsko-Pomorskie and Mazowieckie Voivodeships.

The construction included:

DN1000 high pressure gas pipeline MOP 8.4 MPa, 54 km long

1 stop and bleed unit with control instrumentation (I&C)

3 trenchless crossings using the Direct Pipe method

8 trenchless crossings using the microtunneling method

38 trenchless crossings using the drilling/jacking method

fibre optic cable installation

cathodic protection installation (protection against corrosion)

Additionally, as part of the task, the Gas Distribution Station in Gustorzyn, the largest in central Poland, was expanded and altered, including: alteration of eight reduction and measurement lines into bidirectional ones, construction of filter separators and pig launcher with the stop and bleed system and control (I&C) system.
