NDI Energy, as part of the „Government program for the construction or modernization of railway stops for 2021-2025”, is implementing the task titled: “Design and execution of construction works involving the reconstruction of platforms at the Złocieniec, Łubowo and Recz Pomorski stations” in the scope of: „TASK 1 Railway line No. 210 Chojnice – Runowo Pom. Złocieniec station, km 113.787 of the Chojnice-Runowo Pomorskie line”.

The aim of the project, whose Supervising Entity and Contracting Authority is PKP Polskie Linie Kolejowe, is the alteration of two existing double-edge platforms at the Złocieniec station in order to implement interoperability of the railway system and improve passenger comfort and safety.

The new platforms will be 150 meters long and 0.55 meters high. They will be built in the „L+R” system. New lighting, a broadcast system and cable ducting are also planned. The platforms will be equipped with furniture, such as vertical information signs, light boxes, waste bins, benches, bicycle racks and new roofs over the stairs leading to the underground passage. The platform pavement has been designed in such a way as to improve the safety and comfort of movement for passengers, including those with mobility limitations. The scope of works also includes the modernization of sector roofing above the platforms, partial alteration of the underground passage, construction of three new lift shafts and equipping them with lifts.

Additionally, a new drainage system for the station plain, two new sections of track with a total length of approximately 800 m and adjustment of tracks along the platform edges will be constructed.
