A project of strategic importance for the Warmińsko-Mazurskie Voivodeship ensured safe and comfortable rail transport of passengers from the airport in Szymany to Olsztyn. The aim of the entire project was to establish a railway connection between Olsztyn and the station in Szymany, with a journey time of approximately 45 minutes.
