The main goal of the task titled: “Performance of engineering and construction works on the railway line No. 281 Oleśnica – Chojnice, works on the Orzechowo – IZ border on track No. 1, as part of the task titled: “Works on railway lines no. 281, 766 on the Oleśnica/Łukanów – Krotoszyn – Jarocin – Września – Gniezno section.” was to increase the speed allowing train traffic to 120 km/h on the Orzechowo – Miłosław section.

The construction works included: alteration of a 10 km long track including drainage, renovation of 4 crossings, renovation of the railway bridge over the Warta River, construction of 2 new railway turnouts, installation of SRK devices and adjustment of the track in plan and profile. The task was completed on time.
