Railway Line 210 Szczecinek-Runowo Pomorskie

The project “Revitalization of railway line No. 210 on the Szczecinek – Runowo Pomorskie section” was implemented in the “design and build” formula. Financing is provided from the Regional Operational Program of the West Pomeranian Voivodeship, EU co-financing amounts to 85%.

As part of the project, new platforms were built at the Czaplinek station and at 10 stops, including: in Suliszew Drawski and Żelisław. Thanks to the investment project, double-track traffic was restored on the approximately 30-kilometre section Szczecinek – Łubowo, and 33 engineering structures were revitalized.

After the works were completed, passenger trains run at speeds of up to 120 km/h, which is up to 40 km/h faster than before.

Modernization of traffic control devices and works at 54 rail and road crossings increased the level of safety. The travel time on the Szczecinek – Runowo Pomorskie section was shortened from 1 hour 30 minutes to about an hour.
