National road 81/86 in Katowice
The investment project consisted of the expansion and alteration of a section of ul. Pszczyńska (DK-86), section of ul. 73 Pułku Piechoty (DK-81), the old route of ul. 73 Pułku Piechoty, construction of a road junction at the intersection of DK-86 (ul. Pszczyńska) with DK-81 (ul. 73 Pułku Piechoty), expansion of the Kolista road junction and reconstruction of a section of ul. Kolista and ul. Karolinki.
The aim of the implementation was to streamline the road traffic and improve its quality on this section of the road.
The alteration of the road system in Giszowiec is one of the most important road investments in recent years in Katowice.
