The construction of modern roads connecting the towns of Borówiec, Koninko and the Poznań-Krzesiny airport is a task carried out at the request of the District Roads Authority in Poznań. It includes the construction and expansion of district road no. 2489P and the newly designed road in Koninek. The total length of the reconstructed sections is almost 3.5 km.

The scope of the project includes the construction of a 7-meter roadway with a reinforced surface, construction of sidewalks and bicycle paths, and implementation of full drainage and lighting. The works also include the construction of an overpass over the railway line 272 Kluczbork – Poznań Główny and two bridge structures over the Kopla River. Thanks to the project, residents will gain convenient access to the S11 expressway, which will improve communication in the region, shorten travel times and relieve other roads in the Kórnik and Mosina communes.

The implementation of the project also envisages the expansion of accompanying infrastructure, including the reconstruction of intersections and underground networks. The new solutions will improve traffic flow and increase investment attractiveness of the south-eastern part of Poznań County.

The general contractor of the project is a consortium of NDI Energy and NDI S.A., and its cost amounts to over PLN 105 million gross. The works are to be completed within 500 days of signing the contract.
