The project includes the construction of a new section of provincial road No. 305, which will connect the western entry to Nowy Tomyśl from the A2 motorway, with the southern entry to the city from the side of Wolsztyn. The project also includes the construction of an overpass over the railway line No. 3 Warszawa Zachodnia – Kunowice, which will ensure a collision-free transport connection.

As part of the road works, two roundabouts and one channelled four-entry intersection will be constructed. The construction of bus bays, pedestrian and bicycle paths, pavements, exits and full accompanying infrastructure will also be carried out, including road drainage, culverts, acoustic screens, lighting and the alteration of conflicting utility networks.

The road overpass and new infrastructure are intended to improve the safety and comfort of all road users by moving transit traffic outside development areas and eliminating the need to use the railway crossing.

The general contractor of the project is NDI Energy, and the investor is the Local Government of Wielkopolskie Voivodeship. The total investment cost is over PLN 56 million. The works are scheduled for completion in mid-2026.
