NDI Energy signed a contract with the Stęszew Commune Office for the construction and expansion of a sewage treatment plant worth almost PLN 34 million gross. Implementation began in January 2024 and is expected to close in 18 months.

As part of the investment project, the company will focus on expanding the existing treatment plant and building new process facilities. The task involves the construction and alteration of the sewage treatment plant in Witoble, which will increase the throughput and improve the technical operation of the treatment plant. Domestic sewage from the Stęszew commune is delivered to the facility.

The scope of works to be performed by NDI Energy includes: construction of two biological reactors with a tank diameter of 22 m and a height of 5.8 m, in which physical, chemical and biological processes will be carried out. The facilities will be founded on concrete piles. Additionally, an excess sludge tank, a lime silo, sewage measuring stations will be constructed, and the expansion tank will be altered. General construction works will also include the construction of a technical building with a station for mechanical pre-treatment, dewatering and sanitation of sludge. Additionally, networks, process and sanitary systems will be constructed in the facilities and in the treatment plant area, along with road works and land development.

The facility’s control system will be modernized, which will allow for efficient control of the operation of wastewater treatment technology.
