As part of the project, it is planned to alter the rail and road pavement along with infrastructure and build a network that will power port cranes at the Holenderskie Quay.

The works include alteration of the railway and road pavement along railway tracks No. 601, 602, 603 and 604 and the construction of underground infrastructure at that location. In addition, a new medium-voltage network will be built to power the port cranes.

Additionally, a passage will be built from Francuska Street to the Holenderskie Quay – between storage tanks No. 1 and 2. This, in turn, involves partial demolition and alteration of tank No. 1. The modernization of this part of the Port of Gdynia is intended to provide new opportunities for its development.

The new port infrastructure will be used by mobile cranes, powered from shore-based power sources
