The modernisation included works in Sosnowiec on the modernisation of the tram route at the intersection of ul. Piłsudskiego and 3 Maja, as well as alteration of the line on the section from the intersection with ul. 3 Maja to Rondo Gierka, as well as alteration of the junction at the intersection of ul. Małachowskiego and 3 Maja.
