NDI Group to build new exhibition hall for AMBEREXPO
The project at Żaglowa Street in Gdańsk involves the expansion of the AMBEREXPO complex with a new exhibition space with a conference and congress function, as well as the construction of a hotel section, directly adjacent to the facilities built in 2012. The project is divided into two stages. The investor is the Gdańsk International Fair.
The new space will consist of eight floors. The hall located on the ground floor will be multifunctional, which means that it will be possible to organize not only fairs, exhibitions, conferences and congresses there, but also concerts, corporate events and even film and television productions.
On the first floor of the three-star hotel, which will be built as part of the second stage of the project, there will be a breakfast room with kitchen facilities and a club annex. The hotel itself will accommodate as many as 160 rooms, plus 9 higher standard rooms with access to the terrace.
– We are ready and mobilized to act because we have specific deadlines. I am convinced that this cooperation will work out very well. The goal is to achieve the first milestone, i.e. completion of the hall, in 2025. The next stage will be the opening of a new space for collaboration. But right now, our focus is on construction. This is our biggest challenge – says Małgorzata Winiarek-Gajewska, President of the Management Board of the NDI Group.
The total area of this project will be over 13,000 m2, of which the building area will be almost 6,500 m2.
The hall is planned to be handed over for use in the third quarter of 2025, while the entire construction is expected to be completed in the second quarter of 2026. The General Contractor is the NDI Group, and the Investor is the Gdańsk International Fair.
