Helping for Christmas. NDI Group joins forces with Lena Grochowska Foundation!

As in previous years, this holiday season we want to combine gift-giving with charity. The gifts for our business partners were prepared by the beneficiaries of the Lena Grochowska Foundation, who are employees of the Gdańsk café-studio “toMY”, which hires people with disabilities.

The Lena Grochowska Foundation was established in 2014 on the initiative of Lena and Władysław Grochowski. They were guided by the idea of supporting those most in need who must adapt to new conditions – professional, cultural or economic ones. Five years later, they opened the Artistic Handicraft Workshop “toMy”. Currently, over 90 people with disabilities work in 4 branches of the Foundation and 3 toMy cafés, creating amazing handicrafts, including ceramics, interior decorations, paintings and clothing. In this way, they become professionally active and have room for personal development.

With the upcoming Christmas holidays, we have decided that our contractors will receive a ceramic set of mugs and Christmas tree pendants made by the foundation’s beneficiaries. We want as many people as possible to know about their talent. We believe that it is worth joining forces and jointly promoting the activities of such places.

This is another charity event that we have initiated as part of preparing corporate Christmas gifts. In 2022, the NDI Group purchased 1,000 copies of the album “Neighbours – Art Against War”, and the proceeds from their sale went to the UNAWEZA Foundation of Martyna Wojciechowska to help Ukrainian children evacuated from orphanages and foster families. In 2023, in cooperation with the Polish brand KABAK, we created a set of ecological cotton accessories. 50% of the value of each set went to the Sopot Association of Support and Intervention “Support”.

Helping is good, important and changes the world for the better.
