On schedule – progress report on the S6 expressway
This is how the S6 expressway is being built, connecting the end of the Słupsk bypass with the Bobrowniki junction. Bridge beams were recently installed at the construction site. All work is progressing according to schedule.
Over 16 kilometres of new, dual carriageway road are under construction, with two lanes in both directions and emergency lanes. Two road junctions will also be built – in Budy and Bobrowniki. The plans also include service roads and local roads crossing the expressway, as well as animal crossings, anti-glare screens and acoustic protection barriers. As part of the project, two Traveller Service Areas (so-called MOP), as well as a new road maintenance facility with a salt warehouse will be built.
The projects carried out under the “Design and build” formula are completed by a consortium consisting of companies from the NDI Group. The investor is the General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways.
