The Consortium NDI – Balzola has submitted two most advantageous offers in tenders in Silesia
The Consortium NDI Spółka Akcyjna – Construcciones y Promociones Balzola Sociedad Anonima has submitted two most advantageous offers in tenders announced by Tramwaje Śląskie SA with its seat in Chorzów. The tenders pertain to the modernization of the tram track in Chorzów and in Ruda Śląska.
Both tenders have been organized within the framework of the “Modernization of the tram and trolley infrastructure in the Agglomeration of Upper Silesia, including the auxiliary infrastructure” Project co-financed by the European Union from the Cohesion Fund under the Operational Program Infrastructure and Environment.
Tender on the modernization of the tram track in Chorzów.
The project involves the modernization of the tram track built in Armii Krajowej Street (Gałeczki Street – Dąbrowskiego Street section in Chorzów) and on the section from the intersection of Dąbrowskiego Street to the Świętochłowice city border in Chorzów.
As per the Consortium’s tender, the gross value of the works will be PLN 28,979,816.98 and the works will take 20 months as of the contract date.
Tender on the modernization of the tram track in Ruda Śląska.
The project includes the modernization of the tram track along Zabrzańska Street in Ruda Śląska and the modernization of the crossings bordering with terminals at Chebzie, Asfaltowa Street, Dworcowa Street, Droga do Lipin Street and Katowicka Street.
As per the Consortium’s tender, the gross value of the works will be PLN 19,990,582.07 and the works will take 15 months as of the contract date.
The tenders mark yet another success in the Silesia market of the Polish and Spanish consortium which, at present, executes two projects pertaining to the modernization of tram tracks in that region; one commissioned by the Katowice Municipality and the other one – by Tramwaje Śląskie SA.
