NDI SA has submitted the most advantageous offer for the construction of the Gdańsk Shakespeare Theatre

NDI SA has submitted the most advantageous offer in an unlimited tender which comprises the completion of the construction of the Gdańsk Shakespeare Theatre building. As per NDI’s tender valued at PLN 43,360,873.91, the works will be executed within 11 months.

The Project involves the continuation of the construction of the building and it consists in the execution of all building works, together with interior installations, exterior technical infrastructure, transport network and landscaping.

The theatre’s building will have a unique structure – an opeanable roof which alludes to Elizabethan performances on “open” stage. Depending on the allocation of three stages and the audience, which will not be placed on permanent basis, the theatre will have the capacity of 400-500 people. The author of the design is Renato Rizzi – world famous Italian architect known for challenging established norms and setting new trends.
