New NDI Energy road contract in Greater Poland
NDI Energy has signed a road contract for the construction of a new section of provincial road No. 305 in Nowy Tomyśl, which will connect the city entrance from the direction of the A2 motorway with the entrance from the direction of Wolsztyn. NDI Energy will also build an overpass and perform the necessary road works. The entire investment project is worth over PLN 56 million.
A new section of provincial road No. 305 in Nowy Tomyśl (Wielkopolskie Voivodeship), will connect ul. Celna, located at the western entrance to the city from the A2 motorway, with ul. Kolejowa, which is located in the southern part of the entrance to the city from the direction of Wolsztyn. NDI Energy will also build a road overpass over the main railway line No. 3 Warszawa Zachodnia – Kunowice, which will create a convenient, collision-free transport connection.
As part of the road works, two roundabout-type intersections and one channelled four-entry intersection will be constructed. NDI Energy will be responsible for the construction of road signals, road infrastructure consisting of bus bays, pedestrian and bicycle paths, sidewalks, exits, but also for the construction of accompanying infrastructure, such as road drainage, culverts, installation of acoustic screens, lighting, and alteration of conflicting utility networks.
– This investment project will improve safety conditions for all road users and improve car communication in local road traffic. Importantly, transit traffic will be moved outside developed areas, bypassing the railway crossing. This is another road project on the local market, which we are very happy about – says Cezary Chruściński, President of the Management Board of NDI Energy.
The investor of the project implemented under the European Funds for Greater Poland 2021-2027 is the Local Government of the Wielkopolskie Voivodeship. Works on the new section of provincial road No. 305 is scheduled to be completed in mid-2026. The investment project cost is almost PLN 56 million.
