NDI invites for the third time to NDI Sopot Classic

The NDI Group from Sopot has been a patron and partner of one of the most important music festivals in Poland since 2017. From July 28 to August 4 in Sopot, there will be classical music performances, and this year one of the stars will be the French tenor Roberto Alagna, who will perform at the inauguration of the festival.

The International Music Festival – NDI Sopot Classic – was founded on the initiative of Wojciech Rajski – a conductor, artistic director of the Polish Chamber Philharmonic Sopot and the authorities of the City of Sopot, and from the beginning of its existence, has offered viewers meetings with internationally renowned artists and unique artistic productions. From 2017, NDI based in Sopot became the titular sponsor of the festival.

‘As every year, at the turn of July and August, Sopot becomes a true capital of classical music lovers. It is a great honour for us that for the third time we have the opportunity to support this fantastic event,’ says Małgorzata Winiarek-Gajewska, President of the Management Board of NDI SA. Supporting culture, art as well as sports, and helping those in need have always been a part of our company. As a Polish family company, we feel the need to get involved in the life of local communities and support young artists. This is the case with the NDI Sopot Classic Festival.

This year in Sopot, in addition to Robert Alagna, you will have the chance to listen to Il Pomo d’Oro, a band who will play Handel’s repertoire, Włodek Pawlik Trio in their latest project “Pawlik/Moniuszko – Polish jazz”, and others. The Vienna Concert will be played during the final. Until August 4, there will be many attractions for music lovers, and the details of the festival along with its program can be found here:
