NDI Consortium will be responsible for the largest road investment in the history of Poviat of Poznań

The consortium of NDI Energy Sp. z o.o. and NDI S.A. will perform for the Poviat Road Management Board in Poznań the construction of roads Borówiec – Koninko – Poznań Airport – Krzesiny.

The task includes the construction and extension of district road No. 2489P to the intersection with the S11 expressway junction and the construction of a newly designed district road in Koninko. The entire road works will cover a section with a total length of almost 3.5 km. Thanks to this investment, the inhabitants of the surrounding villages will gain fast and convenient access to the S11 road.

There will be roads of the highest standard: 7-metre-long carriageway with reinforced surface, pavements and bicycle paths, full drainage or lighting. All associated infrastructure will be developed, including intersections and underground infrastructure. The consortium will also build a new viaduct over railway line 272 Kluczbork – Poznań Główny, as well as two bridges over the Kopla river. The investment will significantly improve the traffic situation in the region of the Kórnik and Mosina municipalities. The expansion of district roads will significantly reduce travel time and relieve congestion on other roads in the region.

We will contribute to the improvement of traffic flow, which will also increase the investment attractiveness of the south-eastern regions of the Poznań Poviat,’ said Cezary Chruściński, President of the Management Board of NDI Energy.

The NDI consortium will have 500 days from the signing of the agreement to complete the task. The investment will cost over PLN 105 million gross.
