We will carry out the reconstruction of the DK91 on the section Zawada – Siedlec Duży

The project on the National Road No. 91 will mainly improve road safety and traffic conditions. The contract will include, among other things, the reconstruction of the carriageway with geometric correction of the main route, access roads and the construction of emergency crossings.

A 5.5-kilometre section of the DK91 will be reconstructed. The route starts in the area of the intersection with Długa Street in Zawada, then runs through Romanów, Siedlec Mały up to the border with Siedlec Duży.

The project will not only improve safety and comfort for drivers, but also for pedestrians. Traffic safety equipment will be carried out, such as: fencing, horizontal and vertical signage, as well as the reconstruction of crash barriers, the reconstruction of the existing and the construction of new traffic lights.

As part of the measures related to environmental protection, a consortium of NDI Group companies will reconstruct culverts under the DK91, but also on roadside ditches under exits to adjacent areas. Amphibian and reptile fencing will be created to protect small animals, as well as acoustic screens to attenuate and disperse sound waves, thereby reducing noise. The reconstructed DK91 is part of the Trans-European Transport Network. The investor is the Katowice branch of the General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways.

The value of the contract is over PLN 119 million.
