NDI returns to LK 210
This will be the third investment carried out by a company from the NDI Group on the section of the railway line LK 210. This time, NDI Energy will carry out for PKP Polskie Linie Kolejowe S.A. a design and construction works in the task “Modernisation of platforms at Złocieniec, Łubowo and Recz Pomorski stations implemented as part of the government programme for the construction or modernisation of railway stops for 2021-2025”, TASK 1: Railway line No. 210 Chojnice – Runowo Pomorskie – Złocieniec station, km 113.787 of the Chojnice – Runowo Pomorskie line.
The contract was signed on April 27. The investment includes the preparation of design documentation allowing for the implementation and construction works and obtaining all opinions, arrangements and decisions required for its purposes.
The scope of works includes, among others, the demolition of old platforms 1 and 2 and the construction of new two-edge platforms with a length of 150 m each, along with the access paths from the passageway under the tracks, drainage, LED lighting, assembly of equipment elements and street furniture. The works also include track works enabling the proper execution of works; renovation and development of access to platforms from the passageway under the tracks and from the side of Dworcowa Street with a square for bicycle racks, modernisation of the passageway under the tracks with adaptation to the service of disabled people along with the development of 3 lifts. Sector shelters will be renewed with the replacement of drainage and the reconstruction of the first shelter field – from the side of the passageway under the tracks. New roofs/ passageways under the tracks and waiting rooms under the sector shelters will be installed. Monitoring will also be carried out, the audio broadcasting system will be replaced, and the works will include the removal of telecommunications/power/SRK (train traffic steering control) collisions, as well as the construction and reconstruction of underground telecommunications conduit along the platforms and access ways to the platforms.
The deadline for the implementation of the works is December 31, 2023. The contract value is PLN 10,845,462.41.
