Marcin Lewandowski joins the NDI Group
NDI is a Polish capital group that focuses its activities on the construction market, operating in all its areas, such as buildings and infrastructure, including hydraulic engineering and gas industry. It has been on the market since 1991 and is growing consistently. The current scale of the business and the new development plans have prompted the Group to create a new position of Vice President for Development, which will be filled by the current head of the Execution Division, Vice President Ryszard Trykosko. In turn, Marcin Lewandowski, who is joining the team, will take his place.
Beginning September 1, Marcin Lewandowski, i.e. the new Vice President and Director of the Execution Division in the NDI Group, will be responsible for the organisation, implementation and supervision of the entire process of offer management, execution and warranty service of projects implemented in NDI, and will also take part in the management processes carried out in the Group companies.
Marcin Lewandowski has many years of experience in the construction industry. For the last four years he has been President of the Management Board and Chairman of the Supervisory Boards of all companies in the Trakcja SA Group. He was previously associated, among others, with Płockie Przedsiębiorstwo Robót Mostowych SA, Bilfigner SA and PORR SA, where he went through almost all levels of his career – starting from the position of Construction Engineer, Works Supervisor, Site Manager, Multi-Site Manager, Branch Manager, and then Technical Director and Member of the Management Board for Execution.
Some of the more interesting technical projects in which he took part include the construction of bridges over the Vistula in Płock and near Toruń, the construction of a bridge over the Oder River in Kędzierzyn Koźle, the renovation of bridges in Puławy, Annopol, and the Łazienkowski Bridge in Warsaw. He has also carried out the construction of the railway tunnel to the Warsaw Chopin Airport and the Poznań Franowo tramway tunnel, as well as the construction of the biomass boiler at Siekierki Power Station. He has been involved in the design and construction of many sections of expressways; S2, S5, S6 (including the Gdansk Southern Bypass), S7, S8, S16, S61 and the renovation of numerous railway lines, such as E59, 694/157/190/191, E20, 405. Furthermore, he was involved in mergers and restructuring of large companies in the construction industry.
Marcin Lewandowski is a graduate of the Gdańsk University of Technology, where he completed the Faculty of Civil Engineering, specialisation: Bridges.
