Contract signed for construction works consisting in surface replacement

PKP Polskie Linie Kolejowe SA signed a public procurement contract with the consortium of NDI Spółka Akcyjna and NDI Spółka z ograniczoną odpowiedzialnością for construction works connected with the performance of the sub-project entitled:

‘Performance of construction works consisting in surface replacement of tracks Nos. 1 and 2 on the route of Kórnik – Gądki, station of Gądki, from km 181.781 to km 185.704’ under the project entitled: ‘Surface replacement and auxiliary works on the railway line No. 272 Kluczbork – Poznań, section Kórnik – Poznań Główny, including redevelopment of the steel bridge over the Warta River at the station of Poznań Starołęka, km 196.254’.

The object of the contract includes e.g.: replacement of the track surface and repair of the subgrade, replacement of the crossovers, redevelopment of culverts, redevelopment of the 200m long island platform, repair of the interlock building, redevelopment of the railway crossings, redevelopment of the station traffic control devices [SRK], redevelopment works consisting in replacement of the traction pylons and line sections.

The contract is valued at PLN 16,791,215 gross.

The works are scheduled for completion in December 2015.
