Construction of swimming pools in Katowice has started

On Wednesday, August 2, the shovel was used for the first time at the construction site in Szopienice-Burowce, which symbolically inaugurated the construction of three new swimming pools in Katowice. NDI carries out the implementation of two objects: in Szopienice-Burowiec and in Brynów.

On 12 June 2017, representatives of the Town Office signed agreements with NDI SA for the construction of two urban swimming pools located in Szopienice-Burowiec and Brynów. The pool in Szopienice-Burowiec at Konna Street will cost 24,1 million PLN gross, and the pool in Brynów at the intersection of Kościuszki and Zgrzebnioka streets will cost 25,2 million PLN. The project will take 22 months.

The event was attended by, among others, the President of Katowice, Marcin Krupa, councillors of the districts in which the new pools will be constructed, and the representatives of NDI – Wojciech Pałczyński, Director of the South Branch, and Rafał Trych, Project Director.
